BAG Networks Personnel Learn More About Islamic Banking

Bandar Seri Begawan - BAG Networks held a conference yesterday at the Ministry of Finance, where two guest speakers talked about the policies and conventions of Islamic Banking.

Experts Dr Radi Ibrahim El-Bdour and Hasnol Salleh from UBD provided BAG Networks personnel with additional information underlining the importance of Islamic Banking that is rapidly gaining global popularity.

Haslina Taib of BAG Networks has made plans to hold these discussions weekly to reinforce or strengthen the personnel's understanding and knowledge of Islamic Banking in all aspects.

BAG Networks has held other successful discussions and collaborations with several different agencies, such as the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Narcotics Control Bureau, Royal Customs and Traditions Department, as well as other non-governmental agencies like TAIB. It has always been one of BAG Networks' objectives in encouraging its personnel to familiarise themselves with the Sultanate's cultural and social fundamentals. -- By Ben Ng Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
