UBD students briefed on IT project
Bandar Seri Begawan – October 19, 2006 –
SEVENTEEN final year students from Universiti Brunei Darussalam
visited BAG Networks to attend the Government Policies and
Practices course at the Ministry of Finance Building yesterday.
The public policy and administration students, led by their
lecturer Dr Chee Kim Loy, were briefed on the implementation of
the Treasury Accounting Financial Information Systems (TAFIS)
project by Mahmud Jeludin, Assistant Service Operation Manager
and Md Faizul Hj Yahya, Analyst Programmer. The students who are
also potential employees for the joint venture between the
Brunei Government and Accenture were presented with background
information on the TAFIS project's impact on government
operations and change management strategies in Brunei and the
overall system architecture.
